Must Haves for Breastfeeding

Of course, I'm a minimalist... so as far as I was concerned the only thing you MUST HAVE for breastfeeding is ... Breasts.  But there are lots of things out there that help make it easier.

Many women recommend a positioning pillow or Boppy, especially after a c-section.  It helps everyone get comfy and in a good position to nurse.

A good breast pump is a must if you intend to go back to work or school.

Some older babies seem to need something to do as they nurse. At times that can be pinching, pulling Mommy's hair, or just playing with her shirt.  A nursing necklace can help by keeping him occupied while he nurses.  And nursing bracelets can help remind you which side baby nursed from last.
